I’m a really thin woman, but I can’t do this. However, I know people who can, both men and women, and many men and women who can’t. The thing is it’s not a gendered thing, it’s an individual people thing. Christopher Hart falls into the trap of thinking that just because we see (in society & in the media) women more often in certain poses, therefore it must be something women can do, and not men. In the comments somebody notes that they know men who can do it, and Hart says they must be in traction, because of course, men can’t do a “feminine” pose. e_e
I remember back in high school, I had male friends who insisted that sitting simply cross legged was something only women could do. Simply because it’s considered more of a “feminine” way of sitting in our society, they assumed it must be a physical limitation.
I can do it, I’m petite but it’s not a comfortable position, AT ALL. It cuts off circulation to my legs.

If I was in that boat going over that hole, the whole time I would be like “Don’t summon the kraken, don’t summon the kraken, don’t summon the kraken.”

I don’t even know how they manage to shoot any scene with Mark in the grey suit. I would be rolling on the floor every time he comes on set.
